Private Ranches

WW Outfitters offers quality Montana hunts on private ranch land. The areas we use have been managed for good bulls by our land owners for years. Our guided hunts Montana are both archery and rifle. Rifle hunts require a special draw permit. We archery hunt during the rut on limited access private land. Hunting on private land increase your chances for an older mature trophy bull. Because of the high quality of our ranches, we can provide you with the very best in Montana elk hunting.

Trophy Bull Hunting

This area of Montana that we hunt has long been famous for it's trophy quality big game due to limited access, biological trophy management and superb natural habitat. The eastern Montana hunts are based out of a ranch house or motel.

The terrain we hunt is much easier on the hunter than that of Colorado. The altitude is also lower than Colorado making it much easier for low-landers to breathe. The number and quality of elk you find on these private ranches is quite impressive.

Archery Elk & Deer

All our elk hunts are archery hunts. You can take a cow or bull elk, a mule deer . This is the time of year when the rut occurs. You can here bugling bulls echoing through the canyons. After a fulfilling day of hunting in the big sky country, we wind down with some memorable tales of the day, a good meal, a hot shower, TV, and comfortable beds.

These hunts run from late September to late November. There are 7 day hunts. There are 5 days of hunting, plus 2 days to get in and out. The price of the hunt includes lodging, transportation to and from the Billings Airport. It also includes fuel costs, meals, and 1 guide for every 2 hunters. Please note that our prices do not include the licence fees.

Private Ranch Hunts
Eastern Montana

If trophy book quality is what you are looking for you can't beat our archery hunts on limited access private land in eastern Montana. You could see more big bulls than you have ever seen. It is not uncommon to see a 350 Boone & Crockett and better bull. The ranches we hunt range in size from 1600 to 20,000 acres.

We try and limit the number of hunters we take to ensure we have trophy bulls year after year. The best bull we have taken has been 394 4/8 gross. Also, on this hunt you have the opportunity to take a very nice deer. We have a lot of our hunters see Boone & Crockett mule deer.
